I've had a really good run out of the Goodyear mtr in similar conditions to what you describe
Just have to watch alignment otherwise they are a quiet mud tyre similar to the maxx but I found handled the off-road gravel of touring and long wearing
You pay for it though, equivalent to the Mickey Thompson or cooper but those D697 are a lot cheaper also with good reports, but not as capable off-road
Oh and the bush tracker forum rate the bridgestones so must be ok with weight
