I have a Triton MN 2.5 diesel
I am considering Allied Wheels 16x7 6 bolt bore hole 110.5 offset +25
will these fit perfectly or will it have any dramas in terms of driving or any issues ? Not sure the stock bore hole and all that so thought to ask can I just fit them straight in or not.
Thank you
The centre bore hole/hub diameter on the Triton is a lot less than 110.5mm (it is 67.1mm)
As someone else said, you also need to ensure that the PCD is 6x139.7 (ie, 6 bolts arranged in a 139.7mm diameter circle).
The wheel manufacturer should be able to provide appropriate wheel hub rings to fit between the factory centre hub and the holes in the wheel. The Allied/Performance wheels on my MQ have these rings and it makes fitting the wheels much easier. I believe they are also recommended as they help to transfer load onto the centre hub and reduce load on the wheel studs. I have no idea if this is actually true, but I tend to err on the side of caution with regard to making sure wheels are safely attached to the vehicle.
If you are also getting the same rim for the spare, which you probably should so that you aren't running different offsets if you have to use the spare, you will need a spacer for the spare as well. If you try to fit a spare with a 110.5mm bore hole you will find the bit at the end of the chain will be in danger of moving sideways and pulling through the hole, which would be very bad if it happened while you were driving along. Alternatively you would have to alter the fitting on the end of the spare retaining chain.
