Mate if only I had a chance to get the tune checked. I'm just taking it easy until it's been run on the dyno and everything checked. I reckon if I came up I'd get carried away.triton_guru wrote:Ready for terowie this weekend haha

Have thought about it lots, including engineering in Qld
Only thing was a toy for me in addition to the touring ml dual cab. Thinking and designing a single cab v8 patrol triton
Be alittle bit more work but should be a good result when its done, i think it will tower over my triton haha. Im still waiting to hear back from transport sa with my statement of requirements for the next stage to the triton. Also i will have the same front quater panels as the chapmans triton soon as i have a mate who is a fibreglasser and hes in the process of making the moulds so if you need some bigger guards give me a shoutBilbo wrote:4wd26 wrote:That was always the sensible conversion to a live axle

The Patrol wheel base is only 30mm shorter than the Triton. However I've had to sit the body back a little to clear the back of the engine and the firewall. Doing this has made the body a pretty tight fit, without modifying the Patrol chassis. A single cab conversion would be great. Unfortunately I still have 3 kids to get in there.
