They were just a one off from the local Mitsi dealer that had got stuck with them when a customer changed his mind and they were sitting there for a few years going by the ARB address on the box.

The Triton clocked up 100000ks on Sunday so on Monday I put some new boots on in readiness for a few upcoming trips to the High Country. The 697's still had a little bit left but not worth the risk. They have done 70000 so more than happy with that. Wanted a little more aggressive this time so went the Ko2.

Looking good Matt, everytime I look at that holesaw I get the shivers....
Obviously the 4 holes have to lineup but, was it drilled from the top first using rhino template/measurements and the internal support unit brackets are adjustable for any possible boo boo's  or other way round ?
Cheers, Ray

Other way round Ray. Get the internal bars in position then drill a 6mm pilot hole from underneath them move the internal bars and go to town with the 25mm hole saw from above. Once that is done line up the internal bars and bolt securely then a bit of silicon and fit up all the rhino bits.

Fitted a scupper vent after a few mates were impressed with how it kept the dust out from entering around the tailgates in their utes.

Haven't had it long enough to give a good work out to say but really like the idea of having a 100 amp battery with ample outlets and can connect to the car through a 50 amp anderson and charge through the blue anderon on the powertop which on takes power once 13.2v is reached and alternator charging. Not sure if I will ever run solar into it but nice to have the option. I picked up for just under $600 and with the posibility of picking up a mates Wildtrak in the next couple of years thought I'd go the portable option.

Yeah i'm leaning towards the portable option also, just seems less work than a dual battery setup, that and i know jack $h!t about auto electrics.

trying to decide between a projecta power hub, or the powertop.

Thanks for the input
