Doesn't everyone hear that? %&ng howls like a banshee.
if its hasnt already gone .take the pin out of the thermostat or find a thermostat that has the little pin and take it out so its getting some flow around engine all the time makes them run 8-10 degrees coolerMatt C wrote:Hi guys
First time post on the forum, I have a 2010 mn and all of a sudden I’m having over heating issues when towing up hills. I’ve had the ute since new now has 113000km on it never had any dramas before I’ve had the radiator flushed and cleaned and new thermostat, no signs of any coolant leaks I did have a tune done about 6 weeks ago could it possibly have something to do with that but the guy is adimeant that it’s mechanical also my mechanic wants to put a new rad in but I’m not fully sure that will fix it, any thoughts would be appreciated
Agree. Also a good reason to fit a thermostat with a jiggle pin or a hole.Longranger1 wrote:If it had a coolant change it is possible it didn't have the air in the system bled out properly. I suspect a lot of dealerships managed to kill a lot of engines because of this. It isn't a speedy process.
