putting in some gauges in my ml 3.2 triton and after some advice
wheres best spot for oil preassure sensor or should i put a sandwegde plate in ?
best spot to tap into for boost gauge ?
and best place to tap for power and lighting inside the cab for the gauges.
im putting them in a pillar pod aswell.

My set of guages on the shelf for the last four years or so.

I would suggest the best spot for boost is simply tee off the MAP sensor line (just be aware of the usual blockages that occur at the manifold).

I was planning a new tap at the top of the manifold, just after the "throttle" flap.

I was planning to put a T-piece at the Oil pressure switch. This is obviously where the engineers decided was the best spot.

I don't like the idea of comprising the filter mounting.

For the illumination, either tap near the fuse panel or tap into the 12V socket light wire.

The Paj is now 7 years old. The extra gauges are still in the cupboard. :roll: :lol:

I got tons to do haha but i like to know were wat needs to go in advance.
can the oil preassure switch be pissed off ( only activates a dash light yeah ? ) or is it needed for ecu ?
worried with a brass T of it snapping have read they do ?

also wat fittin is it 1/8 npt or 1/8 bspt ?
and has anybody botherd remote mounting the preassure switch ? read on the pajero forum that its notoriouse for shitting itself ?
