I've got a Mitsubitsu Dual Cab Triton 2002, V6 PETROL manual bought second hand 5 years ago. Always run perfectly, but recently having starting problems when the engine is hot. The items below I've got changed to try to solve it, but still hasn't solved the issue:
Fuel tank clean, Fuel filter, Spark plugs, Ingnition Module, Crankshaft Position Sensor.
Both mechanics had said that the car is in very good condition, as I had major service done and things replaced: tsilshaft centre bearing, aircon cool system and regas, radiator hoses, bypass hose, thermostat and gasket, flush cooling system. Time belt and all fan belts and battery terminals. Battery is 1.5 - 2 years old
I was wondering if someone had same issue or can recommend something else. It starts 'fine' the first time of the day (1-2 secnds), but when I drive and park the car and come back in 10-15min it struggles to start and get worse along the way (like 5-7 seconds) when i turn car off and start immediately it takes maybe 1-2 seconds to start. It used to start straight away, and its worrying me as it let me down one day and couldn't get it going with jump-start leads.
Cheers.
