Rear welshplug leaking 4n15

Hi guys, I have a 2021 Triton. The rear welsh plug on the head has started leaking, and mitsubishi want to charge me $9,000 to replace it.
They told me it has started leaking due to my bullbar on the front causing the engine to run hotter than it should and it has caused the welsh plug to leak as the relief point.

Is there any point to fighting this, or should I pay the $9,000 and sell the car? This last issue has been the nail in the coffin.

That is absolute crap. Find another dealer. They dont want to do it. Even if it was a consideration, the plugs are leaking on un modified cars. Contact MMAL customer care.

Hi Dibby, is this a defect that is covered out of warranty also? Word of mouth it is a machining defect.
